A new jointed doll in the studio...
She needs a name, and some clothing...how shall I dress her, do you think?
This doll is hand-carved from baked clay, hand-sanded, and hand-painted. She is my first doll with jointed knees in addition to hips and elbows, and I'm so happy with the way she turned out! Her russet hair is made from mohair yarn, and she is 11" tall from head to toes.
Off to work on her outfit!
