I have had precious little time between jobs to do any work of my own, but this little critter was inspired by a graffiti creature that Q found on a doorway in Chelsea, and fell in love with. Her lengthy inspection was interrupted only when a tenant needed to unlock the door on her way home. So I though I'd draw my own version of the creature...maybe I'll have it printed on a dress for her. What do you suppose it is? A bunny-squirrel? Q says its name is Ben.

I just did this illustration for the new line suvi ainoa. Yanyan's clothes for children and babies are simple and lovely with a pared-down, modernist twist on some classic styles. I also love her carefully-curated selection of housewares. Just lovely!

I'm thrilled to announce that the delightful Jane D'Haene of Anais and I, for whom I've been doing some illustration work lately, is soon to launch a boys' collection to compliment her darling line for girls. I don't want to give too much away, but it's extremely cool. A refreshing collection of unique designs of the kind that one all too rarely finds on the boys' fashion market. Keep an eye on her site for more news!

My illustrated paper dolls, ten VDJ outfits included, are now on sale in the shop at Le Vestiaire de Jeanne.
You'll have seen their clothing designs on the Q in many photos, including the banner of this blog. Take a look!
