What a difference a scan makes! I recently took the bulk of my larger pieces to the art printer to have "image captures" made...the first step to the limited edition giclée prints I will have made on fine cotton Hahnemuhle watercolor papers. What a delight it is to see these larger pieces scanned in perfect detail! Such an improvement over the photographs I've been using up until now.

  1. Lovely work. I hope you are please with the prints.
    Will they be for sale?

  2. pve - they will be for sale. I have not worked out all the kinks quite yet, but hope to have the shop up and running inside of two weeks (though every time I make such a prediction, something interferes!)
Up until now, I have never sold prints. My work has shown in galleries, and I have worked on commission for several years now. The adoption of our daughter has curtailed my commission work for the past year, though I hope to be able to do a limited number of portraits on commission again in the not-too-distant future.
As for the prints, I expect to begin with limited editions of a couple of the larger pieces, printed by giclée method on fine Hahnemuhle watercolor paper. I will also offer some smaller, more affordable prints of other select images.
I will post details and a link to the shop as soon as everything is up and running. Thanks for asking!

  4. I have had luck with selling from my blog and then having shows in local design shops.
