New to the shop, that is, not new to me. This is one of my pen and ink series from several years ago. I have not put many of them in the shop since most of my pen and inks sold in galleries long before I started the shop. I found this one in the archives, unsold since it is on a different theme from any of my gallery shows, and decided it was high time I had a pen and ink on offer!
I like this one. The stark contrast between the trees' shadows and the ground bring to mind a blazing hot day.
ReplyDeleteI want to be there!
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather made also drawings like this with pen and ink.
Very nice contrast with blazing sun and deep shade. I can feel that day and wish I was there!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, reminds me of Key Largo.
